Angels in the Kitchen

Do you like to cook or bake?  Your cooking talents could help make a difference in the lives of others.  A new Food Ministry Group, “Angels in the Kitchen”, has   already begun to do just that.  Prepared foods are brought to meetings where it is portioned and packaged for delivery  to shut-ins, recuperating members, or those just going thru difficult times.  This is a great way to get involved in a wonderful ministry as well as have fun with fellow members who enjoy the joy of cooking.  Meetings are planned for every 2^nd & 4^th Tuesday of each month (7pm).  If you want to get involved…but don’t necessarily enjoy cooking…perhaps you would enjoy being an “Angel on the Move”…delivering “Angel Food” to shut-ins.  For more information, see Ruth Michaels, or call the church office @ 330-633-3718.

Why should you get to know MIC?

Members, you may have noticed a new item on our menu, Forums. This new website feature brings a new type of communication to St. Mark. The link takes you to our Member Information Center (MIC) where you have access to forms, newsletters, Sunday bulletins, church policies and more.

You have to register to use the forums. There will be limited access to non-members, mostly to newsletters and bulletins. We respect your confidentiality and have secured the congregational information in MIC. The first time you click on Forums you will be taken to a login screen where you will need to click on [Register] to setup your access. It may take up to 24 hours to verify and complete your registration.

Please keep in mind that we are still building MIC. More information will be posted in the forums in the coming months. Our goal is to make this a central location where you can keep informed on what is happening at St. Mark. Don’t hesitate to email us your suggestions on how we can better use MIC.
