Tallmadge Heritage Day

St. Mark participated in Tallmadge's Heritage Day held in the historic Tallmadge Circle. We sold hot dogs, coneys, sloppy joes and pies to benefit the St. Mark Seminarian Fund.
The day started off beautifully with the circle filling with people attending the craft fair, antique auto show and community organization expo.
Being Northeast Ohio and a summer of extreme drought, it was to be our luck that the skies opened up and we quickly became a very soggy group of Lutherans.
It turned into a beautiful day. Many thanks to our volunteers who showed up in both rain and shine! Below left is Earnest Hoffman, our seminarian, who is entering Trinity Seminary in Columbus this fall. We are all so proud and excited!
