About Us

St. Mark places a strong emphasis on the belief that we grow as Christians by receiving God’s gift of forgiveness and life in worship. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at least one service every Sunday and at other times. 

The development of adult understandings of the Christian faith and of its implications for life in the real world is strongly encouraged. Preaching, regular Bible studies, and classes provide occasions for such development. 

There are two Circles of the Women of the ELCA, and active youth groups. Opportunities for service include the Piece Corps (which makes quilts to be distributed through Lutheran World Relief) Mobile Meals, Tallmadge Good Neighbors, and St. Luke Lutheran Home for the Aged.
